Specific Care is an NDIS provider, and we are looking for a compassionate and reliable Enrolled Nurse with at least one year of experience to support NDIS participants and home care clients in the community. You will provide person-centred nursing care and practical support that promotes clients' health, wellbeing and independence in their own homes.
What you'll do
Deliver nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, within your scope of practice.
Support people with disability and home care clients, tailored to their individual needs and care plans.
Assist with personal care, daily living activities, medication administration and clinical tasks within your competencies.
Assist with wound care, health monitoring and ongoing nursing support as required.
Monitor clients' health and wellbeing, and promptly report changes or concerns to the supervising Registered Nurse.
Maintain accurate clinical notes, medication records and incident reports.
Work collaboratively with clients, families, support workers and healthcare professionals.
Uphold clients' dignity, privacy, choice and control.
About you




Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
A minimum of one year's experience working as an Enrolled Nurse (essential).
A compassionate, patient and respectful approach to supporting people with disability and home care clients.
Strong communication, organisation and clinical documentation skills.
Ability to follow individual care plans, recognise changes in health and seek clinical guidance when needed.
Ability to work independently within your role and collaboratively with the wider team.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one before commencing.
Desirable: experience in disability support, community nursing or home care.
Preferred: current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
