Maintenance Fitter | Townsville
Haynes People is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading Australian fertiliser manufacturer in Bohle, Townsville.
Permanent full-time
$95,000 + Super
Monday to Friday
5:45am - 2:15pm
About the role
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of plant and equipment, including:
Production equipment, conveyors, hoppers and blending systems
Forklifts and front-end loaders
Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Coordinating small maintenance projects
Managing contractors and maintenance activities
Sourcing parts and maintaining records in SAP or similar systems
To be successful you will have:
Trade qualification as a Fitter or relevant experience
Robust mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Experience coordinating contractors or maintenance projects
SAP or similar CMMS experience highly regarded
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
