About the Role:
We're seeking a casual Optical Assistant to join our full-scope optometry practice across our two central Ballarat locations. You'll work alongside our optometrists to deliver outstanding patient care and help people see their world more clearly.

Your Responsibilities:
Manage patient appointments, records, and practice administration
Deliver excellent customer service and support throughout the patient journey
Assist patients to select spectacle frames, sunglasses, and eyewear solutions that suit their lifestyle and visual needs.
Explain lens options and recommendations prescribed by our optometrists to support informed patient decisions.
Maintain attractive,



organized displays of optical merchandise
Support our optometrists in providing exceptional eye care
What You'll Bring:
Ideally, you will have previous work experience as an optical assistant or in an optical/healthcare setting
Proven experience in retail/sales with strong customer service skills
Computer literacy and administrative capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A genuine interest in helping people and supporting their health needs
