Position Summary
PHYSIOTHERAPIST GRADE 1 and 2 Physiotherapy - Casual opportunities. Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement- Grade 1 or 2 (VA3 - VB4), $******** - $******** per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for physiotherapists to provide skilled physiotherapy services at WGHG on a casual basis including weekend work. Services will be provided primarily at the hospital site across the acute wards, subacute, outpatients and community rehabilitation. The position requires a demonstrated capacity to work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team. The Physiotherapist accepts responsibility for, and maintains commitment to, personal and professional development. Preferred Candidate Requirements
Degree in Physiotherapy
Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Eligibility for membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association
A thorough understanding and respect for confidentiality requirements.
Additional Experience & Knowledge Considered Advantageous
Experience in a hospital or acute setting.
Knowledge of privacy legislation and document control.
Knowledge of issues relevant to regional/rural areas.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
