The Regional Sales Manager - VIC is a full time, hybrid role based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility to work from home part of the week. This role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and dealer networks across Victoria, driving new business and expanding existing accounts. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, negotiating commercial terms, and coordinating tailored floorplan and distribution finance solutions. The Regional Sales Manager will collaborate closely with credit, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless onboarding, accurate documentation, and high-quality service delivery. The position also involves monitoring market trends, reporting on sales performance, and contributing to regional growth strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development within financial services, asset finance, banking, or related industries.
Strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and negotiation,



with the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels.
Commercial acumen and analytical abilities to understand financial products, assess client needs, and interpret key performance and market data.
Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex finance solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
Solid organizational and time management capabilities, with a track record of managing pipelines, meeting targets, and working autonomously.
Comfort with CRM systems and basic digital tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, online meeting platforms) to support reporting and client engagement.
Knowledge of distribution networks, dealer finance, or floorplan financing is highly regarded.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Victoria for client visits and industry events.
Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
