We are currently looking for a casual Catering Assistantto join our team at one of Melbourne's Residential Universities located inParkville.
The key to our success is our people. Your role asCatering Assistant in this busy kitchen and residential facility is to provide friendly,attentive and efficient service to our valued customers and students.
Your main responsibilities will include:




Service & set up of students through the diningservice areas
Putting of deliveries away in accordance with FoodSafety guidelines
Assisting with function setups
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
A passion for quality food, and customer service
A current food handlers certificate (this can bearranged)
Previous experience in food preparation
Previous experience in a cafe environment
Understanding of OH&S; and food safety practices
A warm, bubbly and effective personality
An ability to work as part of a great team
Have excellent attention to detail
WWC is a must in this location - Onsite parking isavailable!
Must be able to work the below shifts – and have theoption to fill other available shifts
Thursday 3:30pm-7:30pm
Friday 3:30pm-7:30pm
Saturday 9:30am-2:00pm / 3:30pm-7:30pm
Sunday 9:30am-2:00pm/ 3:30pm-7:30pm
