Key responsibilities
Provide warm, friendly, and professional service to all customers
Assist customers with product selections, recommendations, and general enquiries
Create a positive and engaging shopping experience in a busy retail setting
Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication and product knowledge
Share cooking ideas, recipe suggestions, and food preparation tips with customers and colleagues
Promote products confidently by highlighting quality, freshness, and usage ideas
Support food presentation and merchandising to maintain an attractive display
Assist with packaging and preparation of customer orders
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across workstations and retail areas
Ensure products are displayed neatly and stocked appropriately
About you




Availability to work standard operating hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday and from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday. No weekends and no night shifts.
Ability to maintain punctuality and consistent attendance
Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and solid work ethic
Commitment to regular attendance and the ability to work as part of a dependable team
Ability to follow workplace policies, procedures, and directions from supervisors
Positive attitude with willingness to support team members during busy periods
Ability to stand and move for extended periods in a retail environment
Capable of lifting, carrying, and handling stock and packaged products safely
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
Ability to multitask, prioritise duties, and remain organised during busy periods
