The House of Joinery is a family-owned business based in Pakenham, specialising in custom cabinetry, architectural joinery and solid timber work. With more than 20 years of industry experience, we take pride in tackling challenging projects and delivering quality workmanship.
We're looking for an experienced joinery installer who can take ownership of installations, work confidently on site and help lead our installation team.
About the role
You'll work closely with our workshop and drafting team to install custom joinery across residential and commercial projects throughout Melbourne.
Travel from our Pakenham factory to site and back is paid. You're paid from the moment you leave the factory until the moment you return to the factory.
You'll be driving our box truck full-time as part of the role, so
a current car driver's licence is essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
Installing kitchens, vanities, wardrobes, laundry cabinetry and architectural joinery.
Reading and interpreting shop drawings.
Checking site conditions and measurements before installation.
Completing accurate set-outs, scribing,



adjustments and final fit-offs.
Coordinating installation work and providing direction to other installers.
Communicating clearly with our office, workshop, builders and clients.
Driving the box truck to and from projects across Melbourne.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
What we're looking for
Proven experience installing custom cabinetry and joinery.
A relevant trade qualification or substantial practical experience.
Ability to work independently and lead by example.
Strong attention to detail and pride in the finished result.
Practical problem-solving skills, including confidence with complex installations.
Reliability, punctuality and clear communication.
A current car driver's licence — this is a must.
A Construction White Card.
Your own tools suitable for professional joinery installation.
Willingness to travel to projects across Melbourne.
