Seeking a positive and experienced Support Team Lead with
experience as a Disability Support Worker
and a
willingness to commit to 10 hours of permanent work per week
, with some
flexibility with remote hours.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide face-to-face support work -
This will be focused on building rapport with the client, supporting the client with autism, non-verbal and behaviours.
Handle rostering, recruiting, and training staff.
Attending meetings with the client, parents, and the Hireup manager.
Any admin duties relating to the clients' support.
Experience required:




Disability Sector knowledge – experience
working with clients living with a disability; supporting a client who is non-verbal and autistic.
Recruitment, management, or leadership experience
Experience implementing & recognising restrictive practices
Experience working with behaviors of concern & personal care
Communicating with Allied Health & Stakeholders
Community access/school pick up & transport
Current Shift Availability:
Must be available for the following face-to-face shift:
Wednesday afternoons (from 2:30pm for school pick up)
Remaining hours will be admin duties
Possibility for extra hours as support worker with the client
Mandatory Requirements:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Full First Aid
Right to work within Australia
Working with children check
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
Reliable car and a full Australian Driver's License
