Father's Helper / Afternoon & Morning caregiver
dad looking for an energetic, reliable, and nurturing caregiver to team up with me as I transition into solo parenting and help me find my footing. I have two beautiful, young daughters (3 years old and 16 months old).
This is a collaborative role—I will be there and fully involved. I am not looking to hand the kids over and walk away; I need someone trusted to help me with the busiest parts of our day so both girls get the attention they need.
Key Responsibilities
The Afternoon/Night Routine: Helping navigate the dinner prep, bath time, and splitting bedtime duties (e.g., settling the toddler while I put the baby down, or vice versa).
The Morning Routine: Arriving early to help get both girls fed, dressed, and packed up ready for daycare.
Outings & Activities: Accompanying us on occasional weekend or afternoon trips to the park, play centres, or activities to make managing two under three much smoother.
Light Help: Basic tidying up after meals or clearing up toys with the girls.
Hours & Flexibility
Part-time:



Up to 3 days per week (flexible on which days, but will include some weekdays and potentially a weekend day).
Split Shifts/Hours: Ideally looking for someone who can do an afternoon/evening block (e.g., 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM) and/or an early morning block (e.g., 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM).
On-Call / Flexibility: High preference for someone with a versatile schedule who is open to occasional on-call help or schedule adjustments as we find our rhythm.
Ideal Candidate
Experienced with toddlers and babies (experience with multiple young children at once is a huge plus).
Calm under pressure, proactive, and happy to work collaboratively alongside a parent.
Must have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid/CPR training.
Reliable transport is essential.
