The Opportunity
Catholic Education South Australia is seeking expressions of interest from accomplished Catholic educational leaders for the 12-month role of Director: Schools and Early Years Services.
This executive role provides strategic leadership across school improvement, principal capability, regional support and early years services, helping drive a consistent and evidence-informed approach to improvement across CESA.
Working closely with the Director: Excellence, Equity and Inclusion, key areas of focus include:
Providing strategic leadership to Regional Managers and strengthening the region-based model.
Strengthening principal capability, accountability and succession planning.
Leading Early Years Services in alignment with CESA priorities and reforms.
Providing strategic advice on school and system performance, learning, inclusion and wellbeing.




Leading high-performing teams and system-wide improvement initiatives.
About You
You will be a credible and influential Catholic educational leader with:
Significant educational leadership experience and a strong understanding of school improvement.
Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence at a senior level.
Solid strategic, analytical and relationship-building capability.
The ability to translate strategy and evidence into clear priorities and action.
A strong and vibrant commitment to the Catholic faith.
A teaching degree and relevant postgraduate qualification, preferably at Masters level or higher.
