East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our busy, well-established small animal hospital.
We're ideally seeking someone full-time, however part-time may be considered for the right person.
Whether you're an experienced nurse or have 12+ months of hands-on experience and are ready for your next step, we'd love to hear from you!
About Us
East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital is a busy, well-equipped small animal hospital with a varied medical and surgical caseload.
With facilities including digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house pathology, you'll have plenty of opportunities to utilise and develop your clinical skills alongside an experienced veterinary team.
About the Role
You'll enjoy a hands-on, varied nursing role involving surgical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, nurse consultations, patient care and supporting our veterinarians.
Our Roster:
Rotating Monday–Friday shifts: 7:30am–3:30pm, 10am–6pm or 11:30am–7:30pm.
1 in 4 Saturdays, 8am–3:30pm.
As you'll be the
sole nurse on rostered Saturdays
, we're looking for someone confident working independently and managing their nursing responsibilities.
About You




Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Confident in small animal handling, surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring.
Comfortable working independently during Saturday shifts.
A positive, team-focused attitude and passion for providing excellent patient care.
