We keep communities connected.The Clayton team are seeking Street Sweeper Operators to join our team!
The successful applicant is required to operate a street sweeper vehicle (valid minimum MR licence required), complete paperwork and forms, possess mechanical aptitude, able to decipher maps, perform labouring duties and use hand tools.This is a full-time role under the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement with a monthly RDO provided.
The successful candidate will be able to work day, afternoon and nightshift rosters.Key Responsibilities:Must have previous experience operating street sweepersEnsuring all tools, vehicles and equipment are used correctly, maintained in a safe operational condition and all hazards/defects are reported to the Team LeaderCompleting the correct shut-down and end-of-day cleaning process for the street sweeperCompleting all works with a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiencyRecording works-related data in the field, in line with work instructions, ensuring accuracy and completenessParticipating in daily pre-start and shift-close meetings, contributing ideas for changes and improvements in work practices to enhance safety and efficiency and contribute to ongoing continuous improvementAbout You:Previous experience operating road sweepers on freeways and arterial roads essentialBe able to work with little supervisionAbility to be a committed team player who drives for service excellence and continuous improvementA track record of working with a relentless focus on worker, road user and community safetyHigh levels of self-motivation,
