About theRole
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Rates & Valuation team ina Revenue Recovery role, supporting the effective management and recovery ofoutstanding rates and charges.
You will be a self-motivated and organisedprofessional with highly developed time management, analytical andproblem-solving skills.
You will have experience in revenue recovery, rates or a related LocalGovernment environment, with the ability to effectively manage outstandingaccounts, negotiate payment plans and achieve positive recovery outcomes.Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential,



together with theability to engage professionally and sensitively with ratepayers experiencing arange of financial circumstances and build effective relationships withinternal and external stakeholders.
Skills andExperience
Customer service experience dealing withenquiries via different methods of communication, with a high level ofcommitment to customer service
Personal organisational skills to prioritiestasks and duties to meet deadlines
Have a willingness to identify and worktowards continuous improvement
Able to positively contribute to a team andwillingness to be collaborative.
Experience in and a strong understanding ofdebt, recovery and collection systems, processes and internal controls ishighly desirable
