As a
Youth Employment Mentor
in the
Transition to Work
program, you'll support young people aged ******* to overcome barriers and build brighter futures through employment and education. You'll provide tailored, person-centred support that helps participants set goals, build confidence, and access meaningful opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload, providing tailored support across vocational and non-vocational needs.
Build trust-based relationships; assess needs and deliver individual and group coaching to boost employability and motivation.
Connect participants with community services, advocate for resources, and support them in sustaining employment or education outcomes.
Engage employers, schools, and community networks to create inclusive pathways for young people.
Maintain accurate adminstration records, contribute to continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with program requirements.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is passionate about youth empowerment and brings the right mindset and strengths across the following areas:
A qualification in Community Services, Youth Work, Employment Services or a related field (highly regarded).
A strengths-based, empathetic approach with strong emotional intelligence.




Proven ability to build rapport with diverse participants in a culturally sensitive way.
Robust organisational skills, adaptable and results-driven, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.
Highly proficient across digital platforms, with the ability to manage and navigate multiple systems efficiently.
Full work rights in Australia, with the ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
