Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen
Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes

Previous experience in a hotel setting beneficial
Experience working as part of a team and working to deadlines
It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so attention to safe manual handling is a must; including occasional lifting/push/pull of heavy items and you may need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
High standard of cleanliness and safety at work




The flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
Compliance - must hold a Food Safety Certificate
