Job Description: We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Medical Management Team Manager to lead our Medical Management team.
In this pivotal leadership role, you'll coach, develop and inspire a team of Medical Management Specialists while driving high-quality outcomes for injured workers, clients and the business.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the team's performance, ensuring consistent and compliant decision-making, and fostering a cooperative, high-performing culture.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, Medical Advisors and leadership teams, you'll champion continuous improvement and support exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop a team of Medical Management Specialists to achieve performance and quality outcomes Oversee the assessment and approval of medical and like services and surgical requests, ensuring compliance with WorkSafe legislation and industry guidelines Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback and identify development opportunities Act as the key escalation point for complex medical management matters Partner with Medical Advisors, Treating Health Practitioners and Claims Leaders to support appropriate treatment and recovery pathways Drive continuous improvement initiatives,
