Job Title: Mobile Plant / Heavy Equipment Operator
Pay rate: $45ph + penalties + OT
Mon-Fri (6:30am - 5pm)
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Machinery Operator to join a leading Australian mobile crushing, screening, and materials processing provider.
You will be operating heavy earthmoving plant to feed high-capacity crushers, screens, pugmills, and blenders across quarry, mining, and civil infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate 50-tonne excavators and 40-tonne wheel loaders to feed processing plant, manage stockpiles, and handle raw materials.
Maintain optimal feed rates into mobile crushers, screening units, and blending equipment.
Complete pre-start checklists, assist with routine machine maintenance, and perform basic fault troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
Adhere strictly to site WHS procedures, environmental regulations (e.g., dust and noise controls), and site-specific safety plans.
Key Requirements




Prior experience operating heavy mobile plant or heavy civil equipment (50T excavators and 40T loaders).
Familiarity working alongside mobile crushing, screening, or Pugmill processing plant is highly regarded.
Robust commitment to health, safety, and operational standards.
Self-motivated with a high work ethic and flexibility for site deployment.
