We're on the lookout for a passionate and proactive Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join and take the reigns on our Early Careers and Employment Programs portfolio!
We're at the start of our journey in this space so we're looking for an experienced practitioner to help set and deliver our strategies and external partnerships.
About the role:
Reporting into our Manager, Talent Acquisition & Social Inclusion, this role will:
Work to develop and implement TA processes for our Early Careers programs - apprentices, interns and graduates.
This role will work closely with our DEI and Learning & Organisational Design teams on the integration of the TA workflows into program development and onboarding.
This is a new space for Yarra Trams so there will be work to be done initially to develop TA's role in this space.
Work closely with external Employment Partners as we look at to strengthen existing partnerships, explore recent opportunities to help work towards targets under our Franchise agreement
Provide input into the evaluation of broader recruitment processes and identifying opportunities for improvement in line with best practices
Deliver end-to-end support for high-volume recruitment campaigns (including those outside the Employment Programs schedule), ensuring timely and effective candidate engagement, including our bulk programs for Driver recruitment
Champion inclusive recruitment practices and partner with the Diversity & Inclusion team, with a focus towards achieving targets under our Franchise contract
About You:
This role will suit an experienced Talent Acquisition professional with a strong Early Careers background.
Ideally you'll have worked in an organisation with a strong focus on blue collar trades and operational roles,



this will help you to acclimatise to our unique operating environment.
The successful applicant will also be someone who can:
Work both autonomously and in a team environment
Develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation
Build trust and rapport and influence decision making
Explore new and maintain existing external relationships with Universities, TAFE's, high schools and employment program service providers
Attend regular external events and expos
Partner with our internal Marketing & Communications team to develop employer brand material
Prior experience with a blend of tertiary and TAFE level hiring programs will be highly advantageous in this position.
