We are looking for a Digital Preservation Lead to join the Digital Archives team in thisexciting and rewarding role.
You will oversee the management of transfers, ingest, curation and discoverability ofQueensland Government permanent value born-digital records and will developbest-practice methodologies for the archival preservation of digital records.
In this role you will:
oversee, develop and execute digital preservation workflows that meet collection,access and user needs
oversee the operational implementation of digital preservation strategies at QSAincluding development and records of policies, work plans,



resource managementand preservation priorities
investigate, recommend, implement and refine methodologies and practices forsustainable and secure digital archiving
develop and maintain expertise in QSA's digital preservation tools includingproviding advanced support to teams using the system
provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on preservation formats,metadata, transfers and imaging best practices for a variety of file format and carriertypes
maintain statistics, prepare reports and use relevant data to inform programplanning and continued process improvement.
