matterThe Role:We're looking for a proactive
and experienced Accountant to join our Richlands office.
You'll play a key role
in delivering accurate and timely financial information, ensuring compliance
with accounting standards, and sharing your expertise to strengthen the team's
overall capability.Key Responsibilities:Calculate and post end of month provision and accrual journalsPrepare end-of-month and end-of-year reporting, including balance
sheet reconciliations and lease accounting journalsPrepare financial reports for internal and external usePrepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Fringe Perks Tax
(FBT)



returnsMaintain the asset register and manage additions/disposalsSupport the annual budgeting and forecasting process.Respond to audit requests and provide supporting schedules and documentation as required.Review the work of team members and providing guidancePrepare lease accounting journals and reconciliations (compliant
with AASB16)Stay up to date with compliance requirements (e.g., GST, FBT, and
Australian Accounting Standards)Identify and propose resolution for existing and emerging
accounting issues.Evaluate processes and workload to maximise efficiency.Assist where required with other finance team tasks and
responsibilitiesTo succeed in this role, you'll
bringExperience in a similar accounting roleBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldCA/CPA qualified (or working towards it)Strong MS Excel skills and experience using ERP systemsA solid understanding of Australian Accounting StandardsA proven ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and work
independentlyExcellent communication skills and the ability to mentor team
