Location: Lane Cove Council Civic Centre, 48 Longueville Road, Lane CoveDepartment: Communications & Cultural ProgramsEmployment type: Full-TimeWork Arrangement: HybridTeam: Communications and Cultural ProgramsHours: Permanent Full Time, 35 hours per weekSalary: $94,029 - $98,723 per annum+ 12% superannuationAbout the roleYou will be responsible for coordinating the direction and delivery of Council's cultural programs including arts, cultural and community events that promote the community rich in culture with a unique identity.About youTo be successful in this role you will bring:A current 'Paid Worker - Working with Children Check' Clearance (NSW).An ability to attend out-of-hours-events as required.Degree in Arts or Communications or relevant experience in cultural development/events management.Significant understanding of the processes involved in delivering and implementing community cultural development programs including public events, place-making initiatives,



cultural programs and public art.Proven experience in providing creative direction for marketing events and cultural projects.Significant experience in managing outdoor events and live performances.Advanced oral and written communication skills.Highly-developed organisational skills.Ability to work well under pressureWhat we offerWeare committed to supporting our people to do their best work.
