As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking a Stores Operator to join our team at our Workshop in Epping (Victoria). We would like team members who are excited about the opportunity to build a stable, rewarding, and lucrative career with us.

Schedule

- Full-time

- A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday) Early finish on Fridays

- Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration)

The Position

As a Stores Operator at LAI Group, you will be required to assist in ordering, maintaining, and reporting stock reports to the Workshop Manager. This role is important in ensuring our tradespersons have the appropriate equipment to complete their projects and products are prepared for dispatch in a secure and efficient matter.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare goods for dispatch.

- Place goods received within the corresponding job holding area, record, and general filing.

- Segregate non-conforming products into quarantine zone and prepare credit requisitions.

- Maintain communication with the Supply Chain team in relation to goods coming in and going out.

- Advise Projects employee of the arrival of products.

The successful applicant will preferably have:

A good understanding and knowledge of product handling when receiving and dispatching.

- Great communication skills

- Experience in troubleshooting

- Team player

- Safety mindset

- Thorough when reviewing and confirming documentation

- Inventory management experience

- Receiving/dispatching of goods

- Forklift licence

Desired Competencies





- HR Truck licence

- Experience with electrical products

- Education in Warehouse Management or similar
