Product Owner – Decisioning & MarTech

$950 per day + super | Initial 6-month contract | Large-scale transformation

An opportunity is available for an experienced Product Owner to join one of Australia’s most significant customer decisioning and marketing technology transformations.

The program is rolling out a real-time decisioning platform and supporting MarTech capabilities across multiple customer channels. With several concurrent capability releases underway, you will take ownership of a defined release stream and be accountable for its successful, timely delivery.

What you’ll be doing

- Own a defined decisioning or MarTech release stream from planning through delivery
- Manage product scope, priorities, backlog, dependencies and release outcomes
- Represent marketing and business requirements in technical and delivery discussions
- Work closely with Business Analysts, marketing teams, technology teams and specialist vendors
- Translate customer, commercial and operational needs into implementable solutions
- Ensure requirements remain aligned through design, build, testing and implementation
- Understand technical impacts, release requirements and dependencies across channels
- Support capability releases such as decisioning platform rollouts, CDP enablement and email or SMS orchestration




- Provide coverage and support to the senior product leadership team

What we’re looking for

- Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Delivery Manager within a complex technology transformation
- Robust MarTech platform and technical delivery experience
- Demonstrated real-time decisioning or Next Best Action experience
- Experience working directly with marketing teams and representing marketing requirements
- Understanding of how decisioning connects with customer data, segmentation, consent, activation channels and measurement
- Experience delivering concurrent releases within large-scale programs
- Pega Customer Decision Hub or SAS decisioning experience is highly desirable
- Strong technical fluency without needing to be a hands-on engineer
- Confidence challenging proposed solutions and guiding cross-functional teams toward delivery outcomes

Please note that general Pega Case Management or Pega Core experience alone is not the focus. The requirement is specifically for Pega decisioning, Pega Customer Decision Hub, Next Best Action, SAS decisioning or closely related real-time decisioning platforms.
