We are growing our Building Services team and looking for a Senior Engineer | Electrical to join us in Sydney. You will bring around 4 to 8 years of electrical building services experience and the ability to take real ownership of design and delivery on complex projects. You are past the stage of needing your work checked at every step. You are ready to start leading it.

What is your role?

You will take ownership of the electrical design and delivery of complex building services projects, working across all stages from concept through to construction. You will be the lead electrical engineer on the projects you are assigned to, responsible for design outputs, coordination with other disciplines and the technical quality of the work. You will work across a range of project types and sectors, managing deliverables, programs and client communication throughout.

Day to day you will develop and review electrical strategies, calculations, specifications and detailed design documentation. You will coordinate closely with architects, other disciplines and contractors,



manage authority approvals and resolve technical issues as they arise. You will also mentor more junior engineers in the team and be an active voice in how the Sydney electrical practice continues to develop.

About You

- You are an electrical engineer with around 4 to 8 years of building services consulting experience. You have solid technical foundations and you are at the stage in your career where you want to lead design, not just support it. You are methodical, you take quality seriously, and you want to work somewhere that does too.
- You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline, and you have 4 to 8 years of experience in electrical building services consulting.
- You have solid experience in electrical building services design across a range of project types, with confidence in electrical services design from concept through to construction documentation.




- You are confident developing calculations, specifications and design documentation, and you take the quality of your output seriously.
- You have a solid knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements as they apply to electrical building services design.
- You communicate well with clients, architects and other discipline leads, and you are comfortable being the lead electrical contact on the projects you run.
- You are working towards Engineers Australia chartership, or you hold it.
- Experience in data centre or mission critical electrical design is a bonus.
