We are working with a national firm who is experiencing significant growth and looking to expand their property disputes team in Sydney.

This is an exciting chance for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to work in an established litigation practice specialising in commercial and property disputes. You will work closely with a highly regarded partner on a broad rand of property and development disputes, leasing, strata law, land contract and access to land issues.

Key responsibilities

- Provide advice and manage files in a clear and logical manner within required timeframes whilst developing sound case management strategies
- Draft, engross and settle varied types of advices and legal correspondence
- Drafting pleadings
- Appear in Court for call-overs,



directions hearings, motions or to instruct Counsel
- Speak to witnesses and briefing experts
- Attend Mediations and Settlement Conferences

About you

- 5+ years PQE in property disputes or commercial litigation
- Law degree and admission to practice in New South Wales with a current, unrestricted practicing certificate
- Good understanding of court practices and procedures
- Ability to draft legal documentation with strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and autonomously as and when required
- Proven ability to prioritise workload within a busy environment and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills both with your colleagues and clients
