I am working with an established electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its growing Sydney team, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial and residential electrical construction projects.

With projects typically ranging from $5M to $15M, this is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with builders and clients, and overseeing delivery from design through to completion.

About You

- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager delivering construction projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors is essential.
- Demonstrated experience managing electrical construction projects, ideally valued between $5M and $15M.
- Strong understanding of Design & Construct (D&C;) electrical projects and design coordination.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards, regulations and construction methodologies.
- Strong commercial acumen across budgets, forecasting, procurement, variations and contract administration.
- Experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors, builders and consultants.




- General understanding of data, communications, security, automation and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or relevant project management software would be advantageous.
- Electrical trade background or relevant engineering/project management qualifications preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage electrical construction projects valued between $5M and $15M, from initial design through to handover.
- Oversee multiple commercial, industrial and residential projects, ensuring successful delivery against programme, budget and quality requirements.
- Work closely with Site Managers, Foremen, engineers and subcontractors to coordinate project delivery.
- Lead and contribute to design coordination meetings, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and electrical regulations.
- Manage project budgets, procurement, forecasting, variations and commercial reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and implement cost-effective construction solutions.
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, quality standards and contractual obligations.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in electrical construction and Design & Construct (D&C;) projects, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while supported by an experienced site management team.
