Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to develop and execute software test strategies, build automated test frameworks, and validate system functionality across complex distributed environments. The role will work closely with software developers, integrators, and project stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Primary Duties

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and .NET/C#.
- Perform system, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Configure and maintain Linux-based test environments, particularly RHEL.
- Develop and manage automation solutions using Ansible.
- Support containerised testing environments using Docker and Podman.
- Validate DDS-based communications and distributed systems.
- Investigate, document, and track software defects.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Software testing certifications are desirable.

Experience

- Experience in software testing and quality assurance roles.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).




- Experience using GitLab within CI/CD environments.
- Practical experience with Python and .NET/C# development.
- Experience working with Docker and Podman containers.
- Experience testing distributed systems using DDS technologies.
