Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Entry Sales Representative role based in Townsville, QLD. The Entry Sales Rep will engage with prospective and existing customers, provide information on home improvement products and services, and support customers in selecting solutions that meet their needs and budget. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and qualifying customers, conducting product demonstrations, preparing quotes, and processing sales orders accurately. The role also involves following up on inquiries, maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, and supporting promotional activities or showroom events. The Entry Sales Rep will collaborate with the local team to achieve sales targets,



uphold high customer service standards, and ensure a professional and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

- Ability to build rapport with customers, actively listen, and communicate clearly in person and over the phone.
- Robust customer service mindset with a focus on understanding client needs and providing helpful, honest guidance.
- Basic sales skills, including presenting product features and benefits, handling objections, and closing sales under guidance.
- Comfort working with point-of-sale systems, preparing quotes, and managing basic documentation with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn product ranges and industry terminology related to home improvement and manufacturing.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site full time, including possible weekend or extended hours during busy periods.
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a small team environment.
- Previous retail, sales, or customer-facing experience is an advantage but not required for motivated entry-level candidates.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using email, spreadsheets, and customer databases.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales, business, or related fields is beneficial.
