$140,000 – $150,000 + Super | WFH Flexibility | Melbourne

The Company

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded business operating within the premium retail and luxury lifestyle sector. With multiple brands and locations across Australia, the business has built a strong reputation for quality, customer experience and continued growth.

With approximately 30–50 employees and annual turnover of $20 million, this is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, entrepreneurial business where finance plays an integral role in supporting commercial decisions and business performance.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Director, the Finance Manager will take full ownership of the finance function across a group of ten entities. This is a broad, hands-on and standalone position combining financial reporting, compliance, cash flow management and commercial analysis.

Supported by an outsourced transactional finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls and providing valuable insights to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Oversee the end-to-end finance function across multiple entities, including month-end, year-end and consolidated financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, financial controls and all statutory compliance obligations.
- Prepare financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis, providing meaningful insights to senior leadership.
- Oversee outsourced transactional finance processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and timely processing.




- Partner directly with the Director on financial modelling, cost management and commercial initiatives to drive business performance.

About You

You will be a commercially minded and hands-on finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, working autonomously and partnering closely with senior leadership.

To be successful, you will ideally bring:

- CA/CPA qualification with a strong technical accounting background.
- Experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
- Strong experience in multi-entity reporting, consolidations, budgeting and cash flow management.
- Exposure to retail, multi-site operations or a similar commercial environment would be highly regarded.
- Strong systems skills, ideally including Xero, with excellent stakeholder management and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
