We have a (Permanent) ICT Lead / Network Engineer role available in Adelaide CBD.

You will support Defence-related technology projects. This role will focus on network deployments, infrastructure configuration and troubleshooting, while providing Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to end users.

You will work across network infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and end-user technologies, helping ensure secure, reliable and effective IT services within a Defence environment.

Australian Citizenship is Mandatory due to the nature of the projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure and support network infrastructure across Defence project environments.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for network, infrastructure and end-user technology issues.
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network equipment, firewalls and connectivity.
- Support and administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Intune.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, connectivity, access and network performance issues.
- Support endpoint configuration, device management and user onboarding.
- Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement effective resolutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, network configurations and support procedures.




- Work collaboratively with project teams, service desk personnel and other technical stakeholders.
- Follow established security, change management and operational procedures within Defence environments.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Network Engineering Experience
- Experience in Network and Infrastructure Support
- Experience in Microsoft 365, Microsoft InTune and Microsoft Teams.
- MSP Experience (Preferred)
- Strong Level 2 and Level 3 technical support experience.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls and network technologies.
- Experience with Aruba and Fortinet (Desirable)
- Experience Leading or Mentoring Engineers
- Experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, endpoints and end-user environments.
- Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management skills
- Experience supporting users in enterprise or complex IT environments.
- Good documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively across project and support teams.
- Must be an Australian citizen.
