IEPro are currently recruiting Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers for a number of exciting civil infrastructure projects.

We're working with established and growing civil contractors who are looking to strengthen their delivery teams across a range of projects, including roads, bridges, structural concrete, FRP and energy infrastructure.

With current projects getting underway, these opportunities will allow you to get involved from the beginning, take ownership of construction packages and see your work through to completion.

These positions offer FIFO/DIDO arrangements, with project uplifts paid in addition to your salary and super.

The Opportunity

We have multiple opportunities for Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join project delivery teams working across a diverse range of civil infrastructure packages.

The work includes:

- Bridge construction and structural concrete works

- Formwork, reinforcement and concrete (FRP) packages

- Road construction and pavement works

- Bulk earthworks and drainage infrastructure

- Civil works supporting renewable energy and energy infrastructure projects

- General civil construction and associated infrastructure

You'll work closely with experienced Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors, taking responsibility for planning, coordinating and delivering construction activities across your allocated packages.

For Engineers who enjoy being involved on site, working directly with construction crews and solving practical delivery challenges, these are excellent opportunities to broaden your experience.

Importantly, with new projects commencing, you'll have the opportunity to be involved in the early stages of delivery, establish construction systems and processes, and follow your project through to completion.

The Role

Depending on your experience and the project, your responsibilities will include:





- Coordinate and manage civil construction activities across allocated work packages

- Oversee structural concrete, FRP, earthworks, pavements, drainage and associated civil works

- Develop construction methodologies, programmes and short-term lookaheads

- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant and site resources

- Work closely with Supervisors to plan and sequence construction activities

- Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation

- Prepare and manage ITPs, QA records, RFIs and project documentation

- Monitor quantities, productivity, project costs and forecasting

- Assist with procurement, subcontractor management and commercial reporting

- Manage variations, progress claims and contractual requirements

- Identify construction risks and implement practical solutions

- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications

- Build effective relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders

- Support and mentor junior Engineers where appropriate

For Senior Project Engineers, there will be greater responsibility for managing construction packages, leading engineering teams and supporting overall project delivery.

About You

To succeed, you will bring:

- Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

- Demonstrated experience as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within Australian civil construction

- Experience delivering projects across roads, bridges, structural concrete, earthworks, drainage or energy infrastructure

- FRP and structural concrete construction experience will be highly regarded





- Strong understanding of construction methodology, programming and site coordination

- Experience coordinating subcontractors, plant and construction crews

- Sound knowledge of QA systems, ITPs and project documentation

- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical requirements

- Commercial awareness including procurement, forecasting and cost management

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site teams

- A practical, hands-on approach to engineering and project delivery

- Willingness to work FIFO or DIDO on a roster

While structural concrete and FRP experience will be particularly valuable, we're also interested in speaking with Engineers who have strong backgrounds in road construction, bulk earthworks, drainage and general civil infrastructure.
