JRT Group is seeking experienced, reliable and safety-focused Civil Combo Operators to join our growing team, working across a range of civil construction projects throughout Rockhampton, Yeppoon and surrounding areas.

This role requires skilled operators who are confident operating trucks, excavators and skid steers and enjoy the variety of working across different equipment and tasks.

About the Role

The successful applicants will be experienced Civil Combo Operators who are confident operating a range of trucks and earthmoving equipment.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Safely and efficiently operating trucks, excavators and skid steers across civil construction sites

- Carrying out excavation, trenching, grading, loading and lifting operations

- Transporting materials, equipment and spoil to and from worksites

- Undertaking land clearing, site preparation and general earthworks

- Working to construction programs and meeting daily productivity targets

- Conducting daily pre-start inspections, basic maintenance and reporting equipment faults

- Completing required documentation, including pre-starts, dockets and timesheets

- Maintaining a strong focus on workplace health and safety, productivity and site requirements

- Working collaboratively with supervisors and other crew members to achieve project outcomes

- Working Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Have proven experience operating excavators,



skid steers and trucks within the civil construction industry

- Hold a current HR Driver's Licence (minimum requirement)

- Hold a current Construction White Card

- Have a sound understanding of civil construction practices, equipment operation and site safety requirements

- Be confident and competent operating multiple types of machinery

- Be reliable, motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team

- Have a strong work ethic and take pride in delivering quality work

- Demonstrate valuable communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

- Have your own reliable transport

- Have GPS and final trim experience – highly regarded

- Have experience operating additional earthmoving equipment – highly regarded
