We provide Community Transport in Sydney's vibrant inner west.
Community Transport is a door-to-door transportation service provided in cars and small buses.
We help people stay independent and live an active life in their local community by providing safe and reliable transport services.
We assist older people and people with disability who need help getting out and about.
Our services include door - to - door shopping, personal and medical transport well as group social outings. We also provide transport services and drivers for other community organisations.
We offer a service that is inclusive and welcoming. Our staff and clients celebrate the diversity of the Inner West in all its forms including cultural diversity, religious diversity, sexual orientation and gender identity.
Helping people get where they need to go.
The majority of our clients are female and we are looking to increase our number of female drivers in response to client feedback. On that basis, female applicants are most welcome to apply.

About the role
We operate a modern fleet of buses and cars. A LR license is required to drive our mini buses.
We are seeking to expand our pool of casual LR drivers drivers due to an increase in demand for our services.
Our drivers provide a safe, secure, door to door transport service to people (both individually and in groups) who cannot easily use public transport or access private transport, to support their independence and facilitate access to medical, community, social and related services.
Our general client service hours are 7:00am - 5:00 or 6:00pm Monday to Friday with some limited Saturday and evening shifts available from time to time. Our peak demand times are usually between 7:30am and 1:30pm.
A number of shifts are available,
usually a minimum of 5 hours per shift to assist across the peak periods. Drivers may also work as Bus Assistants from time to time. Both drivers and bus assistants must be physically fit and able to assist clients including carry their groceries. All staff use an in - vehicle tablet based despatch system to manage and adjust their schedule.
Connect driving staff are employed under the Passenger Vehicle Transportation Award.
