Maintenance Fitter

TRS is seeking a Maintenance Fitter on behalf of its client. This is a 26-week contract, a temp-to-perm position

The successful candidate must have hands-on experience with injection moulding and plastic extrusion machinery, along with robust mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on injection moulding and extrusion equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
- Carry out machining, fitting and general mechanical repairs.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues to minimise production downtime.
- Assist with equipment installations and improvements.
- Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings.
- Pneumatics and Hydraulics experience
