About the role

This is an exciting, hands-on role on a large modern stone fruit orchard growing premium fruit for domestic and international customers. You will assist with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of orchards, involving routine orchard duties including planting, irrigation, pruning, crop maintenance and harvesting.

Key responsibilities

- Plant, maintain and cultivate fruit and nut trees.

- Perform pruning, thinning, training and general orchard maintenance.

- Monitor irrigation systems.

- Assist with fertiliser application and crop nutrition programs.

- Monitor crop health and report pest, disease or irrigation issues.

- Harvest fruit according to quality standards.

- Operate farm machinery and equipment safely.

- Maintain orchard infrastructure including fencing, netting and irrigation systems.

- Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times.

About you

- Previous experience in horticulture,



agriculture or orchard operations preferred.

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- Physically fit and capable of manual work.

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Current driver's licence.

- Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.

- Experience in almond, stone fruit, citrus or pome fruit production (desirable).

- Experience operating tractors and farm machinery (desirable).

- Forklift licence (desirable).
