Position: Trades Assistant

Location: West Gosford

Job Description: As a Trades Assistant, you will have the unique chance to work alongside qualified professionals in the trades industry. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Assisting a Qualified Welder: Work closely with our experienced welder to support welding projects. You will assist with preparing materials and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

- MIG Welding: Gain hands-on experience in MIG welding techniques under the guidance of our skilled welder. You will have the opportunity to practice and develop your welding skills while contributing to important projects.

- Assisting a Diesel Mechanic: Support our diesel mechanic in servicing and maintaining vehicles and equipment. You will assist with tasks such as performing routine inspections and assisting with repairs as needed.

- General Labouring Duties: Engage in various general labouring duties as required to support our operations. This may include general labouring duties,



cleaning work areas, and assisting with other tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role or a strong interest in pursuing a career in the trades industry.

- Basic knowledge of welding techniques and equipment (for MIG welding role).

- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.

- Robust work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks as required.
