About the role

The Dentists Cairns Dental Group is expanding, and we're looking for a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our friendly, professional team in Westcourt. We're offering a fantastic opportunity for someone who's passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

- Welcoming patients and managing front desk operations

- Handling payments (EFTPOS, HICAPS, Medicare, DVA, etc.)

- Scheduling appointments and managing patient enquiries (phone, SMS, and email)

- Supporting the clinical team with administrative and compliance tasks

- Ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and infection control are maintained

About you

- Experience in a dental or medical reception role is an advantage, but not essential

- A professional, friendly, and patient-first attitude





- Strong communication and multitasking skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong computer and administrative skills (experience with EFTPOS, HICAPS, Medicare & DVA preferred)

- An understanding of infection control and hygiene standards

- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments
