Position Overview:

Two Rivers Wines at Denman are seeking a motivated and reliable Vineyard Hand to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our vineyard, ensuring the health and productivity of our vines. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment and contribute to the production of high-quality grapes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain vineyard equipment, including tractors, sprayers, harvester, mowers, and pruning tools

· Assist with all aspects of vineyard management, including planting, pruning, canopy management, irrigation, and harvesting

· Monitor vine health and assist with pest and disease management, including the application of treatments as required

· Carry out general maintenance of vineyard infrastructure (Post’s, irrigation systems, fencing, etc.)

· Record keeping and reporting on vineyard activities

· Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working setting





· Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve vineyard goals

Selection Criteria:

· Previous experience working in a vineyard or similar agricultural environment

· Demonstrated experience operating vineyard equipment and machinery

· Knowledge of pest and disease management in viticulture

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Current driver’s license (essential)

· Chemical user accreditation (desirable)

· Forklift license (desirable)
