About the Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for managing export shipments from end to end while delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment and takes pride in ensuring shipments move efficiently, compliantly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage export shipments from booking through to final delivery

- Prepare and coordinate export documentation accurately and within required timeframes

- Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas agents and service providers

- Arrange cargo collections and monitor shipment progress

- Track shipments and proactively communicate status updates

- Prepare pre-alerts and shipping documentation





- Maintain customer files and operational records

- Process customer invoicing and approve supplier charges

- Ensure compliance with company procedures and international regulations

- Investigate and resolve shipment issues and customer enquiries

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies

What You'll Bring

Essential

- Freight forwarding experience within exports (airfreight, ocean freight or both)

- Strong customer service and relationship management skills

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Strong administration and computer skills

Preferred

- CargoWise experience

- Air and/or sea export operations experience

- Understanding of international shipping documentation and processes

- Knowledge of Australian export and customs requirements
