Role Overview

SRM Maintenance Pty Ltd are looking for a practical and motivated Project Engineer to join the SRM team.

This role would suit someone who has experience working across minor civil works and smaller packages, and enjoys being involved in the day-to-day delivery of projects rather than being stuck behind a desk.

You’ll work closely with the project team to coordinate works, manage technical requirements and help ensure projects are delivered safely,



efficiently and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning and coordinating minor civil and engineering works

- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation

- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site activities

- Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and timelines

- Assisting with procurement and material coordination

- Conducting site inspections and resolving technical issues

- Maintaining project documentation and records

- Liaising with clients, consultants and internal teams

- Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of projects

Skills & Experience

- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

- Around 2–5 years’ experience in civil construction, infrastructure or engineering projects

- Experience delivering smaller civil works or engineering packages

- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills

- Confidence working between the office and site

- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved
