You are a few years into contracts, not twenty. Maybe you came up through a builder’s program straight out of uni, maybe you worked your way across from site. Either way you are now running your first claims, your first variations, your first cost reports, and you have realised something: you are valuable at this, and you want more of it, faster.

The problem is where you are sitting. At a big builder you get one job, one small corner of the numbers, and a long queue of people ahead of you for anything compelling.

Our client is a design-led builder on a serious growth run, delivering some of the most beautiful high-end residential and multi-res projects in South East Queensland. They are building a central CA team that works the whole portfolio together from one room, and they want someone early in their CA career to grow with it.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO (FROM WEEK ONE, NOT YEAR THREE)

- Monthly cost reporting in Cheops, on real numbers. Know exactly where your jobs sit

- - Progress claims, variations and EOTs on live, high-end projects. Your own jobs, not someone else’s photocopying

- - Subcontractor packages,



procurement and negotiations, with experienced people beside you until you are flying

- - Head contract administration done properly. Claims up the line, notices on time, documentation that holds up

WHO YOU WILL LEARN FROM

A Director who was a senior contracts administrator himself at some of the country’s biggest builders. He speaks CA fluently, knows exactly what good looks like, and genuinely loves bringing people up through the business. Plus a tight, capable CA team around you every day: someone to ask on the tricky variations, backup on the big claims.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Cheops experience: essential, not negotiable

- - Early in your CA career with a head contractor on multi-res or commercial projects

- - A genuinely positive attitude. This is the thing they hire on first. You bring energy, you back your teammates, and problems get met with "let’s sort it"

- - Curious, coachable and organised. You ask the questions and actually listen to the answers
