Machine Operator/ Forklift Operators | Adelaide

Day, Afternoon & Night Shifts | $33.85 - $44.01 per hour depending on shift

Adecco is seeking experienced and safety-focused Machine Operators and Forklift Operators to join a leading manufacturing operation in Adelaide.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can combine machine operation with forklift duties. However a forklift licence is not essential if you bring solid manufacturing experience particularly operating roll-forming equipment or other fixed production machinery.

These are ongoing casual opportunities across day, afternoon and night shifts with competitive rates and the opportunity to build your experience within a well-established manufacturing environment.

About Us

Responsibilities

Depending on your experience, your duties may include:

- Operating roll-forming and other fixed manufacturing machinery

- Setting up, monitoring and operating production equipment
- Assisting with the fabrication, assembly and handling of steel products
- Operating folding and processing equipment
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Measuring and preparing materials to meet job specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, production instructions and job specifications
- Conducting quality checks on completed products
- Loading and unloading materials and finished products
- Operating forklifts to move materials throughout production and warehouse areas
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Supplying production areas with materials




- Completing pre-start equipment checks
- Maintaining a clean and safe work setting
- Following all WHS procedures and safe manual handling requirements

Your Profile

We'd particularly like to hear from candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Roll-forming machine operation
- Fixed manufacturing or production machinery
- Steel or metal manufacturing
- Machine operation within a busy production environment
- Forklift operation within manufacturing, warehousing or industrial environments
- Loading and unloading trucks and production materials
- Reading technical drawings or manufacturing instructions
- Using hand and power tools

A current LF Forklift Licence is highly regarded, particularly if you also have machine-operating experience.

Don't have a forklift licence?

We would still encourage you to apply if you have strong machine-operating experience, particularly with roll-forming machinery, fixed production equipment or similar manufacturing machinery.
