THE ROLE

Located in the heart of the Gold Coast dining scene, Edgewater Dining is known for produce-led menus, modern casual fine dining and memorable waterfront experiences. We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team in a permanent full-time position and help drive the day-to-day success of the kitchen. Working alongside a Michelin-starred chef, you will lead service, inspire the team and ensure every dish reflects Edgewater’s commitment to quality, creativity and consistency.

ABOUT YOU

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie in a premium, high-volume restaurant kitchen
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and support a high-performing kitchen team
- A genuine passion for quality produce, thoughtful presentation and outstanding food
- Confidence managing service, kitchen operations, stock control and food costs
- A calm, organised and solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment
- A robust understanding of food safety,



hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification or level of experience
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
