RCR Mining Technologies is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer tojoin our growing business development team based in Welshpool

This is an exciting opportunity for an people focused person whocan combine there engineering professionalism to under our clientschallenges and develop practical, innovative solutions. Combiningrelationships, technical expertise with commercial acumen, you'llwork closely with clients across the Mining, Defence, Rail andRenewable Energy sectors, helping turn complex operational problemsinto successful engineering outcomes.

Backed by a multidisciplinary team of more than 50 engineers anddesigners, you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities,shaping solutions and supporting projects from concept through todelivery.

About the Role

As the Technical Sales Engineer - Client Solutions, you willserve as the critical link between our clients and our engineeringteams. You'll develop a deep understanding of customer operations,build trusted relationships, and help deliver solutions that arepractical, commercially sound and aligned with real-world deliverycapabilities.

Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you'll beinvolved from early engagement and concept development through toexecution and ongoing lifecycle support.

What You'll Be Doing

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clientsacross Mining, Defence, Rail and Renewables.
- Engage with customers to understand operational challengesand identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate client requirements into practical and executableengineering solutions.
- Support opportunities throughout the project lifecycle,from early-stage studies through to delivery and aftermarketsupport.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing andproject delivery teams.




- Contribute to technical and commercial proposals, tendersand solution development.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, value engineeringand continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A tertiary qualification in one of the following,Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Hydraulics ora related engineering discipline.
- Experience with OEM equipment, heavy industry, miningequipment or complex industrial systems.
- A passion for hands-on engineering and delivering practicaloutcomes.
- The ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at alllevels, from workshop personnel through to seniordecision-makers.
- A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to understandcustomer needs.
