You’ll deliver high-quality, affirming, person- and family-centred therapy to children and young people with developmental delay, neurodevelopmental conditions or other areas of developmental and functional need. Alongside your clinical caseload, you’ll support team members through supervision, mentoring, collaboration and professional development, while contributing to the growth and delivery of KidsPT’s four pillars: THERAPY, CONNECT, PRESENT and PRODUCTS.

This is an opportunity for an experienced clinician who enjoys supporting others, developing new ideas and contributing to a growing organisation. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how we work, support our team and help develop services that make a meaningful difference to children, families and the wider community.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Deliver family-centred OT within an integrated multidisciplinary THERAPY team, including assessment, goal setting and individualised therapy plans

- Provide formal and informal supervision, mentoring and induction support, fostering a collaborative, reflective team culture

- Contribute to team planning, case discussions and professional development

- Help develop and deliver CONNECT group programs and PRESENT workshops, training and consultancy

- Strengthen connections with families, schools, community organisations and service providers

- Work with the Director and leadership team on new initiatives and sustainable growth

- Support high-quality clinical documentation and service processes

- Contribute to a high-performing, inclusive and supportive workplace where team members feel valued, connected and encouraged to learn.

You will be someone who values collaboration, brings initiative and curiosity to their work, and enjoys turning ideas into practical opportunities that benefit children, families and the wider community.

You’ll be confident supporting colleagues, building relationships and contributing to the direction of a growing organisation.

You will also be comfortable working autonomously, thinking creatively and collaborating with others to develop services that reflect KidsPT’s values and vision.

We are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to contribute beyond their individual clinical caseload and help develop a connected, sustainable and innovative paediatric allied health service.

KidsPT welcomes applications from:

- Clinicians with solid mentoring and collaboration skills who are passionate about developing people and services.

- Innovative clinicians who enjoy developing programs, resources, workshops and new opportunities to support children, families and the wider community.

- Clinicians with local connections with service providers and community organisations

- Clinicians with experience and understanding of NDIS reporting and requirements.

Key Skills:

- Experience working with children and young people with developmental delay, neurodevelopmental conditions or other developmental and functional needs.

- A commitment to neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based and family-centred practice.

- Robust ability to take on a set caseload with experience and knowledge.

- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

- The ability to provide support, mentoring and guidance to colleagues.

- An interest in developing people, programs and services beyond individual clinical practice.

- A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.

- Initiative, creativity and a growth mindset, with a willingness to explore new ideas and opportunities.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance clinical responsibilities with team leadership and service development.

- A commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care and continuous improvement.

- The ability to build positive relationships with families, schools, community organisations and service providers.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

- A supportive, multidisciplinary team culture where collaboration and connection matter.

- The opportunity to combine clinical practice and service development.

- Ongoing supervision, mentoring and professional development.

- The chance to support and develop other clinicians in their professional growth.

- Opportunities to develop innovative group programs, workshops, resources and community partnerships.

- The chance to contribute ideas, influence service development and help shape the future direction of KidsPT.
