About the Role
As a Telecommunications Trainee, you will work across sites throughout Metro Melbourne while receiving comprehensive training and support from experienced industry professionals. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Data cabling installation and maintenance
- CCTV and security system installation
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Working safely on commercial worksites
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a genuine interest in developing a career in telecommunications.
- Be reliable, punctual, motivated and enjoy working as part of a team
- Have solid communication skills and a positive attitude
- Hold a current driver's licence and own car, must be willing to travel to worksites across Metro Melbourne.
- Hold a White Card and EWP Yellow Card, or be willing to obtain them
- Hold a Working with Children's Check, or be willing to obtain one
- The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.
