About the Role

Brisbane Girls Grammar School welcomes applications for a full-time Technologies Teacher to join our School for 2027.

This is an exciting prospect for an educator who is enthusiastic about inspiring students through Design and Digital Technologies, fostering creativity and innovation. You will engage students in hands-on learning experiences that combine design, coding, robotics, and digital solutions.

About You

We a re seeking a passionate educator who is committed to achieving outstanding learning outcomes and supporting students to reach their full potential.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- experience teaching Design and Digital Technologies at a junior secondary level
- the ability to teach senior Digital Solutions, with experience in senior Design considered advantageous
- knowledge in areas such as computer-aided design, coding and/or robotics, and ideally experience in teaching these skills




- genuine enthusiasm for design, digital technologies, innovation, inquiry-based learning, and authentic problem-solving through complex design challenges
- extensive knowledge of teaching strategies to achieve optimal learning outcomes for students
- excellent communication and collaboration skills
- the ability to inspire the next generation of creative thinkers and problem solvers by fostering innovative, purposeful, and human-centred design thinking
- the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing and collegial school culture.
