LEAP is the leading provider of Legal Practice Management Solutions in the world and is part of ATI - one of the largest international LegalTech companies. For more than 30 years, our curiosity and commitment to continual improvement has kept us reimagining productivity tools for lawyers and their staff to support our guiding purpose, to ‘Help lawyers who help people’. The market-leading software we develop and support is used by more than 71,000 lawyers and their staff in small and medium-sized law firms.
Working alongside our international team of passionate high achievers, you’ll join a fast-growing technology business where things seldom stay the same for long. With more than 1,000 smart, caring and ambitious ‘LEAPsters’ working together across Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Poland and New Zealand, you’ll find yourself in good company here.
Meet the Marketing team
Our AU marketing team builds the demand, brand and pipeline behind LEAP’s growth across Australia. We work in close partnership with sales, our Practice Area of Law teams, and our global marketing function. We’re a small, ambitious team that ships meaningful work fast and backs each other to do it well, and we’re now at a point where theres more growth in front of us than hands to chase it. Thats where you come in.
What youll do
As our Marketing Manager – Practice Areas, youll lead the strategy and own marketing for LEAP AUS Practice Areas of Law. Practice Area marketing is a growing priority for LEAP AU, and youll build it into a real point of difference across six practice areas. A big part of the job is taking new releases to market: as each practice area ships apps and features, youll run the go-to-market that gets them in front of the right practitioners. Around that, youll own practice area positioning and drive the content, podcasts, CPD events and social that build LEAPs voice in each field and turn awareness into real adoption of our solutions.
Reporting to the AU Marketing Lead and based in Sydney with a hybrid working model, youll work closely with our Practice Area teams and the practising lawyers who lead each practice area, and partner day to day with our Visual Designer – Practice Areas to give each practice area a look and feel that matches its message. Youll also be a senior member of the wider AU marketing team, helping shape marketing strategy, campaign planning, brand and the broader marketing calendar beyond the practice areas, and lending your experience wherever the team needs it.
Your content will live on our website, a headless CMS built on Storyblok, and reach practitioners through our Salesforce and Pardot campaigns. Our team has already put an early framework and process in place, so you won starting from a blank page. Because the function is still young, you start hands-on. In the early days youll work across the whole mix, from strategy and positioning to writing, events, podcasts and getting launches out the door. As practice area marketing proves its value, the role and the team will grow with it, and you help shape the structure, the people and the direction as it does.
To make this happen, you will:
- Positioning, messaging and ICP: Work with each Practice Area team to understand what has been built, what is in progress and what is coming, and turn it into clear positioning and messaging. Own the ICP for each practice area, by practice type, buyer and the job each is hiring LEAP to do, so messaging reflects how practitioners actually think.
- Go-to-market for releases: Run the go-to-market for each new app and feature release: the launch plan, messaging, content and cross-team coordination that make a release land rather than quietly ship. Launches follow each practice area’s release cycle, so youll plan and prioritise across a rolling calendar rather than running six at once.
- Expert content and visual identity: Work with our practice area leads, each a practising lawyer, to produce credible content that holds up with a specialist audience: blog posts, practice guides, case notes, thought leadership and explainers that make LEAPs AI suite make sense for that kind of work. Partner with our Visual Designers so each practice area has a distinct, cohesive identity and campaign assets that match the message.
- Events, conferences and podcast: Build a program of CPD events, webinars and practice area events that give practitioners genuine professional value and move them from awareness to adoption. Lead LEAPs presence at industry conferences, and help launch and grow a practice area podcast featuring our leads and respected practitioners.
- Social and sales enablement: Turn launches, content, podcasts and events into social activity that reaches the right practitioners. Create the one-pagers, explainers and case studies sales and client-facing teams need, and work with sales on how theyre used.
- Wider AU marketing plan: Support brand, campaign and lifecycle work across the team when the calendar calls for it, bringing a practice area lens to how LEAP shows up in market.
- Measurement and AI: Measure whats working, from launch impact and content engagement to event attendance, podcast listenership, social reach and above all product adoption, and use those insights to sharpen what comes next. Part of the role is deciding where to focus first: which practice areas, channels and launches will make the biggest difference. Use AI in your own workflow for research, drafting and content production, with the judgement to know when its output is good enough and when it isn.
