Due to the rapid expansion of the DRAX brand in Australia, we are seeking additional team members to support our continued growth across the commercial fitness industry.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team at our Ormeau head office and warehouse on the Gold Coast.

This is a hands on role suited to someone with mechanical aptitude, strong organisational skills and an interest in commercial fitness equipment. The successful applicant will play an key role in supporting our customers and Service Technicians with their spare parts requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret customer enquiries, identify the correct parts, prepare quotations and process spare parts sales for internal and external customers
- Provide product and technical support to customers regarding equipment and spare parts
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock control, parts ordering and inventory management
- Receive, inspect and quality check incoming products
- Pick, pack, prepare and dispatch spare parts orders
- Ensure the spare parts area is maintained in an efficient and organised manner
- Support the warehouse team as required
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and work collaboratively with the sales,



service and warehouse teams

About you

You are a practical, organised and customer-focused individual who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a team. You have the ability to learn technical product information, identify components accurately and manage competing priorities in a busy working environment.

Previous experience in spare parts interpretation, mechanical products, inventory management or customer service will be highly regarded. Knowledge of commercial gym equipment would be an advantage, although a willingness to learn and develop product knowledge is equally important.

- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical information.
- Good organisational skills, initiative and a proactive approach to work.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- Reliability, honesty and a strong work ethic are essential
- Computer skills, with MYOB and Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Physical fitness is important, as some heavy lifting will be required.
- Flexibility to commence the role at short notice would be highly desirable
